About AudioTrim

Why this site exists

Most audio cutters ask you to upload a file, wait for a server to process it, and then download the result. For a thirty-second ringtone that round trip is pointless. The file is already on your device, and your device can do the work.

AudioTrim uses the Web Audio API that ships with every modern browser to decode and cut audio locally. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is queued, and nothing is stored. A four-minute song becomes a waveform as soon as your device finishes decoding it, and the export you download is built from the samples already in memory.

The site stays free because of advertising. There is no account, no paywall and no watermark, and we do not sell anything else. If the tool saves you a download, that is the whole idea.
